 Adriana Petersen's search and recruitment career spans over 25 years and more than 3,000 placements across the world. Her early beginnings in the industry date back to early 1980's, when in Philadelphia, PA and at the age of 22 years old, she became the youngest owner/manager of the Snelling & Snelling franchise system.
For many years, Petersen's Snelling and Snelling office consistently ranked in the top 10 revenue producing offices out of 300 offices nationwide. After successfully selling that firm in the early 90's, she then relocated to Southern California to start her own independent firm specialized in the medical device/pharma/biotech industry, which eventually became Madison Shea ES.
Madison Shea ES became one of the early premier boutique search firms and it partnered in talent search and acquisition with major organizations such as Stryker Corporation and all of its divisions, Merck & Co., Pfizer, Wesley Jessen, Phillips Medical, among many others.
After many years at the lead of Madison Shea ES, she sold that firm to her partners and most recently has created what many believe to be the most customer-oriented, high caliber search firm in the life sciences industry, NEXUSBioMed.

Adriana Petersen is an active member in her industry and her community. She is a founding Board Member of the Nanotechnology Research Foundation, www.nanotechnologyresearchfoundation.org, a non-profit volunteer-based organization in which she actively promotes advanced sciences and technology to the general population and the youth in our country. She is also committed to supporting advancements in science and generously contributes to The Leukemia/Lymphoma Society, City of Hope, Susan G. Komen Foundation.
On her personal time Adriana loves traveling the world and experiencing other cultures, enjoys most outdoors activities, is an avid yoga practitioner, amateur photographer and plays the piano. Most importantly, she enjoys raising and spending time with her two daughters, Lauren and Madison.
